It is a festival that opens when the sun goes down and closes when it comes back up.
EDC Las Vegas 2027 dates
May 14, 15 and 16, 2027, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway — not on the Strip, some fifteen miles north-east of it.
What that means in practice
Three consecutive nights rather than three days: the schedule runs overnight, and the trip home happens in daylight. Camping is sold as part of the festival.
The sunrise finish is not a detail, it is the thing to plan the whole trip around: a hotel room booked for the nights of the festival is a room slept in during the day, and a flight out on the Sunday morning is a flight missed. Anyone treating it like a Vegas weekend with a festival attached has the schedule backwards.
